Q3. What is alabastrite?
A3. Alabastrite is a term used to describe the material used to make an item. The process uses crushed ceramic clay or plastic (sometimes recycled). This material is then mixed with resin. It is then poured into a mold and dried. This process, and others like it, allows for much more detail and color to be added in the piece produced.
Q4. What does the term "Patchwork" mean?
A4. Patchwork is a term used to describe the application of unique fabric or paper prints to items made of porcelain, dolomite, or polyresin. After the application, the item has 12 layers of lacquer with a hand polishing between each layer. The end result is a fabulous and very unique piece of art.

A5. Well..., here are just a few terms you may find and are not familiar with the definitions.
Frosted Acrylic - A "French Lilac" process is applied to acrylic. The result is a distinctive frosted look which adds a dramatic, eye-catching, touch to an item.
Hong Tze - Closely emulating a unique and highly prized stone found in the Sou mountains of China, our Hong Tze collections are created using an alabastrite polyresin. Each item is then highly polished to bring out the intense, deep-red color which typifies the much sought after original.
Majolica Reminiscent of the fine designs of Majolica pottery of Spain and Italy in centuries past, we strive to reproduce the Majolica-Style. Our pieces are crafted by artisans experienced in all aspects of pottery-making. The results are bold, dramatic pieces resembling those of long ago.
Q6. How do I use a giftcard to make a purchase?
A6. Browse the store and pick out what you want to purchase. Register as a shopper or login as a return shopper. Click on the REDEEM GIFTCARD button and follow the prompts. The long number on the back of the giftcard is the ID number. Enter this number in the giftcard box. (alpha O and zero 0 are interchangible) Be sure to enter the hyphens ( -).
Q7. Can I use more than 1 giftcard on an order?
A7. Yes, just enter the ID number in the giftcard box and repeat the process. Each time you enter a new number, the system will deduct the giftcard amount from your order.
